 Welcome letter from the publisher

Welcome to!

By Aaron S. Robertson, publisher

Welcome to this site! I launched in September 2017 as a means to help fill a local news void. With so many local news Web sites and traditional print publications turning to more of a regional and even national focus, I've heard from many Muskego residents and community and business leaders that it has become increasingly difficult to get the word out on what our great city has to offer. It's my sincere hope, through hard work and with your help, that can become a viable source of news, commentary, information, and resources devoted to our community.

A little about myself here - and you'll come to know me better over time - I have a strong background in both writing and online marketing, including search engine optimization and social media. Both fields compliment one another nicely. I was a reporter for both the Muskego Chronicle and Muskego Patch some years ago. I have a blog at I'm currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership at Cardinal Stritch University, and my dissertation is in the realm of organizational culture. And for my current full-time work, I serve as the business manager for Estate Services, a remodeling contractor based here in Muskego. I'm blessed to be able to say that I truly love my work and get to have a lot of fun doing it. In addition to general bookkeeping, customer service, and sales support, I get to utilize my passions for writing, marketing, and big-picture strategizing nearly every day. I've been a resident now for the better part of 20 years, and I absolutely love this town.

As I stated earlier, you'll get to know me better as time goes on. Likewise, I hope to get to know you better, as well, and that this site can serve as a way for you to get to know your neighbors and our broader community better. Muskego has so much to offer.

If you're not sure where to start here, I'd suggest checking out our events calendar and discussion forums. We also have a Facebook page that you'll want to check out from time to time, as well.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us by e-mail at We also have a contact form that you can utilize. And don't be shy about sending us your press releases, event details, story ideas, and so on!

Until next time, I wish you all the best!
